The SSCG Operations Sub-Group

CSMP’s executive function is undertaken by the Scottish Strategic Co-ordination Group (SSCG), which makes policy decisions and offers operational guidance. This group is supported by an operations sub-group, which focuses on addressing the key operational challenges within the asylum and refugee arena in Scotland. The Operations group focuses on a range of issues including:

The Implementation of the New Asylum Model;
The transition to new accommodation contracts;
Accommodation issues more generally;
Removal, detention and voluntary return;
Access to support services;
Community engagement;
